The Basics
Individuals over the age of 18 are welcome to apply for a screening, providing you are not pregnant or currently
undergoing any medical investigations, including scans or blood tests.
We’re happy to see you at our clinic in West Sussex no matter where you live. We welcome men and women from all over the
country who wish to check up on their health!
We don’t charge a set fee for our screenings.
Your screening costs us £350 to carry out. We invite a donation to cover this cost, or contribute towards it.
We understand that not everyone can afford to cover the full cost – but please give as much as you can afford for your health
screening. Your donation does matter!
If you have personal healthcare insurance, our service should meet the criteria for you to claim back your health screening cost from
your healthcare provider. We can provide you with a formal receipt as proof of your donation.
Our health screenings are comprised of a series of detailed and wide-ranging tests. It helps us to get a clear picture of your current state of health.

We recommend that you have a health screening every two years.
We will send you a reminder on your 2 year anniversary inviting you to book again.
How It Works
Each health screening is made up of two appointments:
Nurse Consultation
Approx 45 Minutes
This appointment provides the opportunity to talk openly and informally with a nurse who will review your medical history, listen to your health concerns, and provide advice for the future. Our clients tell us they appreciate the encouragement we give, and find it realistic and non-judgemental. Several tests are also carried out during this appointment.
- A non-fasting blood sample is taken. Blood tests can reveal critical changes in your body at the earliest stage, and are an important step towards protecting your health.
- An ECG (electrocardiogram) is performed. This records the electrical activity of the heart. (Please note: if you have a pacemaker we won’t include an ECG, as it won’t give you a true reading. Our appointments team will be pleased to advise you).
- Your pulse and blood pressure are checked.
- Your urine sample is checked – this can pick up several conditions including diabetes.
- Your medical and family histories are discussed, and you have the opportunity to talk about any health concerns you may have.
- Lifestyle choices are discussed, including alcohol, diet, exercise and smoking.
- Advice is given on osteoporosis, which is discussed in light of your age, medical and family history, and lifestyle.
- Advice is given on self-examination for cancers such as breast, testicular and skin cancer. This means you will be more aware of the early signs of these conditions.
- You will also hand in your completed bowel testing kit so we can send this to the lab for testing.
Ultrasound Scan
Approx 30 Minutes
Abdominal Ultrasound
- Applicable for all clients
- This is a scan that looks at organs such as the liver, kidneys and gallbladder.
- It also looks at the abdominal Aorta, which will identify any indication of development of an aneurysm. Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) is a condition most prevalent in males over 65 years, develops without symptoms, and is a common cause of sudden death in later life.
Pelvic Ultrasound
- For women who have their uterus (womb) and/or ovaries.
- This is carried out at the same time as the abdominal ultrasound to ensure that there is no visible abnormality in the pelvic organs or surrounding area.
