The Mary How Trust is seeking Trustees to join the Board.

The current Trustees provide a diverse range of skills and knowledge. However, the Charity is growing in size and stature, and, in consequence, we are looking to recruit new Trustees to our Board. This is an exciting time to join us as the Trust develops its future vision.

You will use your skills and experience gained from other sectors or roles, along with energy and enthusiasm, to guide the charity through exciting times. You will secure the governance of the organisation, contribute to our strategic future and act as an ambassador for all aspects of our work.

All candidates will need to demonstrate a strong passion and commitment to the charity, its values and objectives. A proven track record of sound judgement and effective decision making, strong inter-personal and relationship building abilities, tact and diplomacy, with the ability to listen and engage effectively.

We would particularly welcome people with Clinical/Medical, Law, Health & Safety/or Fundraising/Marketing experience, but this is not essential. We offer a tailored induction, the opportunity to learn new skills and the satisfaction that you are helping people in your local community.

We actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, abilities and cultures and believe that a diverse workforce including our volunteers will help us to achieve our mission. Should you need any adjustments to this recruitment process, either at application or interview stage, please let us know.
