The Mary How Trust for Cancer Prevention is an independent, CQC registered, charity. The Trust’s health screening service aims to spot the early signs of life-threatening illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes, bowel cancer, prostate cancer, and abdominal aortic aneurysm. We receive no statutory funding from Government or the NHS. Our service is made possible by donations, grants and fundraising.

We have the following positions available to join our friendly, professional team:
Health & Wellbeing Screening Nurse
Location: West Sussex (on site role)
Hours: Part time
The Mary How Trust is seeking nurses to effectively carrying out health & wellbeing screening to clients using own judgment and initiative. Evaluate medical history, current health & wellbeing, and all screening results including blood tests and ECG, and provide appropriate action for clients.
What you’ll be doing:
Carry out a clinical assessment
Assess client’s health & wellbeing needs and advise the client to plan towards a healthier lifestyle.
Interpret test results to create a results booklet and plan
What we’re looking for:
✔ NMC Registered Nurse. Nursing associate would be considered
✔ Experience and knowledge in health and wellbeing
✔ ECG and blood test results interpretation
✔ Experience in phlebotomy and ECGs
