Veterans
We are proud to be addressing the growing need for accessible, preventative health screening for the veteran community. With our new Surrey clinic opening soon, we will be able to reach even more veterans, serving personnel and their families.

Our approach is different. We provide free, preventative physical health screening in a calm, non-clinical and veteran-friendly environment, alongside practical advice to improve wellbeing and reduce future health risks.
This fills an important gap. Many veterans tell us they find traditional NHS or hospital settings daunting, creating barriers to accessing healthcare and the early detection of serious conditions including cancer, heart disease, diabetes and aortic aneurysm.
The impact of our Veterans’ Foundation-funded programme demonstrates the need. In its first year alone, we supported 87 veterans and 126 family members, identifying serious, previously undetected conditions at an early, treatable stage. Feedback consistently shows that our veteran-aware approach helps people access screening when they may otherwise avoid healthcare altogether.
Research supporting the launch of our new Surrey clinic has also identified strong local demand in an area with a significant Armed Forces community.
Our service has been shaped by veterans themselves, alongside clinical staff and partner organisations. We work particularly closely with Veterans’ Outreach Support (VOS), who regularly refer veterans to us and often accompany clients to appointments, providing valuable emotional and practical support. Veterans tell us that this calm, trusted and peer-supported approach reduces anxiety and gives them greater confidence to engage with their health.
We also work with other organisations across the veteran sector, with clear onward signposting for welfare and specialist support where additional needs are identified.
Together, lived experience, partner feedback and our own monitoring demonstrate that this approach makes a measurable difference to veterans’ long-term health and wellbeing – providing timely, sensitive preventative healthcare that people feel able to use.
Our aim is simple: to make accessing preventative healthcare easier, less daunting and more supportive for veterans, serving personnel and their families.
